Can a 997 steering wheel fit on a 986

Just wondering, will a 997 steering wheel fit on a 986 ?
Part number 997 347 804 03 FOA plus airbag
I like this steering wheel and I would like to retro fit it on my 01 Boxster S

No, it won't. The wrenches on Rennlist have discussed this. The centers are different.
