Help Me Name My Cars

My Boxster has always had a nickname - "Er Ni". My girl is Chinese and I speak a good bit of Mandarin. Er Ni means second wife or mistress in Chinese. But now I have another car and they're almost like twins of each other - both arctic silver with black interiors and more radical body kits. I can name the new car "San Ni", which means third wife (Chinese often have more than one mistress), but I'd rather come up with something new.

Any suggestions as to what to call the two cars?

Pictures of the Box are in my sig line, and here's the new acquisition:

Manny and Moe.

That gives you an excuse to buy a 3rd Porsche and name it Jack

No good ideas on car names, but love those wheels on the new car. Whats the back-story on the mods of the new car, enjoy,

Because they love to use up the Grants and Franklins.

I've always thought about the name "Fellatio" for a drop top. Would make a good vanity plate FELATIO. :D

The previous owner (PO) had a lot of money... He bought the car new in 2003, dumped about $28K into mods, and then sold it in less than two years to a friend of his. I then bought it off his friend who never drove it. The PO went on to buy a Lambo, totally pimped it out, and then sold it after one year and 5,500 miles. Now he's on to other cars... I'm going to keep the car. I'm just reaping the benefits of his investment in the mods. :p

I like that. Plus if you put about three zeros behind each of those values you get the relative cost of each car. The Box could be Grant (also a common first name) and the 996 could be Benjamin. That's kind of clever and that's the kind of thing I'm looking for. :p

If you are going with the Wiff-names, why not Poly? As in Polygamy? :p

I dunno. I just look at my cars and a name comes. Named the Boxster Greta and the new car Elphaba (she's green :D). Good luck and enjoy your naming -- nice problem to have.

I named mine Hannibal.

The previous owner was a Psychiatrist, and I have this nagging feeling the car is waiting for me to stop paying attention so it can rip my face off.

Thing 1 & Thing 2

Whenever my cars had names it's because they earned them. "Honda The Wondercar" because I had it for nearly 300K miles with no issues, and my old, rusty 1980 Datsun pickup truck was known as "Old Herpes" because there was no cure for it. These names were usually bestowed by friends or employees. I don't know why, but only the DDs ever seemed grow names.

That's good... my kids would like that one!

My girl likes Ying and Yang as she's Chinese. She said that Ying means woman and Yang means man, so the two cars would kind of go together as a couple. That means that one of the cars would have to be the Ying. I guess the Box would be the ******************** since: well it's got a box and you all know it's a chick car! :D

Good suggestions guys, keep them coming!
