Why spend the money to install a 20 yr old engine into a boxster when you can make a much easier install with a 3.2 boxster engine?

Nothing will match up with the 911 engine, but anything is possible I suppose. I leave the solution to more knowledgeable bodies, but I would imagine obstacles on the mounts, ecu, transmission mating, throttle, air box.

Cooling system would be drastically different.

It would be interesting for sure. Post progress

I have everything from my 911 and I have to much $$$ in the engine and other parts.

I don;t think it can be done without spending more than you would spend for a new Boxster

Carerra engine = air cooled.

I don't think there's any way to get sufficient air flow over the 911 cylinder heads in the Boxster engine compartment.
