What's the front plate all about? It doesn't look like California standard...

I sure wish I had hills like that behind my house. All I have is half of flat, ugly, hot, humid Houston behind my house! :barf:
I too question that German plate on the front. Have you ever been stopped for having it on the car? |
Let me explain about the front plate...I don't really want to put it there but the other day a rock flew and hit my bumper (thank goodness not the hood) and also, there's a lot of road rash :(
and since there's already a mounting hole, I took the front plate off my MB before I sold it awhile back and install it to the Boxster. I figure, fix ticket is a lot cheaper than having my whole front bumper re painted :o about getting pull over...so far I haven't been pulled over because of the front plate even when it was on my benz...*knock on wood* |
In Pennsylvania front plates arent even required. Alot of people put those German plates on there BMW's, Audi's and Volkswagans.... dont typically see them on porsches for some reason.
