My new desktop background!

Hello all! Been away pursuing photography for a while. Probably could have bought another boxster with the $$$ I spent on lenses! Anyway, I took this picture for myself for my new desktop image! Just thought I'd share. Cheers!

@Bry: I tried to load a larger image but it is not working

@unklekraker: The link is NOT working for me so just go to www.flickr.com/conradtan1969 and it's the 8th or 9th image down!

Me like these two very much.

(small engine on second photo in the corner is an BMW e30 M3 evolution engine, which used to be another car I had)

Thank you! I adjusted the tones of the clouds to appear HDR-like!

conradtan,

Beautiful picture!

I think the clear, third brake light looks exceptionally well on your car. I've considered getting one but now believe they look better on darker cars.

Hey thanks ddb! I was happy how they turned out. The smoked tail lights and 3rd brake light were all about $350 combined. Not bad for that different look!

I probably have at least a new engines worth of lenses myself! But it is a fun hobby, and there aren't any ims issues with your lenses!

A few from over the years;

that is a GREAT picture and a NICE looking boxster. Mine is Ocean Blue - very similar!

Now paint your bumperettes! it would really make the rear of your car look better. I recently did mine and it is a great/inexpensive mod!

Conradtan:

Beautiful picture. How did you get that result? Is there some photoshop effects in it? Very intriguing picture. Bob

I used a combination of photoshop and ACDSee to really get the clouds to get that High Dynamic Range or HDR effect even though technically it is not an HDR. Lots of fun! Glad you like it!
