just imagine you show up at a Porsche track days with this
2,200 lbs and 270 hp sounds like a healthy power to weight ratio as well

Nice, but does the defroster work? Or do you still need to use an ice scraper on the inside of your windshield?

PS.
I think I'll wait until they come out with the 987 version.

Hey Adam great thread. I'm a huge VW fan (have a '66 w/a trick 1776) but I have one comment. You gave us the specs but I don't speak Deutsch!

LOL....yeah I don't either, but that is the only way they had them listed. I could still make out a few things from it, but not all of it. Hey since you have an air-cooled VW you should check out the website for the company I work for. Have you ever heard of Mid America Motorworks? Just google it and it should bring it right up. I bet that 66 is fun to drive with that 1776. I've always been a fan of the earlier body styles.

It can't be a true Bugster because it's a hardtop, a la Cayman. Mayhaps a Bugman?
