Bulb blown on heater controls

Hi, could anyone provide any advice on this please ?

The bulb appears to have blown which illuminates the heater controls in the dashboard. My car is a 2002 2.7 boxster with standard heater (ie. no air con).

All fuses Ok - hence I suspect the bulb. However, I can't figure how the hell to get to the bulb. I have removed the two side pieces of the console containing the cigarette lighter etc and then removed the star drive screws around the central console cover. But after doing this nothing seems to want to move !

I think that the radio may need to be removed too ? I have tried to do this but it looks like I will need a special tool to do so. Does anyone know if the radio need to come out and if so, any tips ony how to get it out please?

Thanks
Mike
