Weird light problem
 

When I lock my doors with my remote key my headlights and side markers not longer flash up for a second anymore.

Plus the little lights on the inside of the doors are not working anymore and the light next to the latch for the roof is not working very well.

Weird thing is all these little problems happened exactly at the same time 2 days ago; what do you think is causing this?

hmmm...

based on your symptoms, this leads me to believe your ignition switch is heading south. Is hte key hard to pull out or any other gremlins like the radio staying stuck on?

This has come up allot lately, to minimize down time I purchased an extra ignition switch and some other goodies from Suncoast (delivery is set for tomorrow). My question; is the electrical part separate from the mechanical? If I just purchased a replacement I don't believe I get a new key? Do I?

This sounds real good hu? I buy a part and don't know how to replace it or what the hell I'm getting for my money. :rolleyes:

My car still has 1 year of CPO warranty.

Can I have Porsche look at the ignition switch?

I would take it in and have them check the alarm system codes.
