Engine Failure Poll

After reading the Sticky above on engine failures, it would be nice to consolidate this information into specifics of year, model, mileage and specific failure. With this data perhaps we can observe some trends as to which years and models are most susceptible to failure.

To get us started mine is as follows:

2000S
3.2
46,000 miles
Specific failure unknown by previous owner
Repaired by dealer under warranty

been done Ad nauseam here and on several other Porsche forums, poke around and you'll find them, then you can add your info to them if you still want to.

This has got to be the fifth or sixth thread started that wanted to poll engine failures. They all failed, and they are all misleading. There are far more people with problems coming to this forum, than those without problems.

I suggest the moderator of this forum take down the sticky on this topic before anyone else gets beaten to death.
