aftermarket radio and OEM Hi-Fi system

If I replace my DCR-220 radio with an aftermarket unit will my OEM Hi-Fi sound system still work?

I have a 2000 Boxster S with the optional Bose Hi-Fi sound sytem; I just want to be able to retain the richer sound.
