The Presidential limo has always been codenamed Stagecoach (at least as long as I've been around). They're all neat pieces; incredibly fortified, heavy as hell and hard to drive. For the last several years, they've all been Caddies.

Despite GM's comments, I don't see where the windows on the new car are any larger than the windows on the current Stagecoach.

When Gorbachev came here in '87, the Soviets brought their own cars, just as we take ours when we go abroad. I rode in a Russian Zil limousine with Gorbachev's KGB escort. You want to talk about a tank? Wow. When we went around corners I thought we were going to drag the rocker panels on the ground.

Diesel engine? That’s a first, Grizzly, I sent you a PM.

I haven't seen this one yet, but I highly doubt that it's a diesel. I can't be sure, but I'm willing to bet it's a gas engine.

Matt Lauer said it best this morning on the Today show, "at least GM sold one car this year"

I think he should use this one...

Wonder what it's like at track days?

I'm assuming the drivers are all trained in high speed evasion, so that equals days at the track. What a challenge that beast must be to toss into a corner at 80...jeez louise!
