Driving gloves?
Does anyone know where I can find a good, thin set of leather driving gloves? I purchased these (below) years ago, and somehow lost them over the Christmas celebrations this past week ... thus far they've not wound up in a lost and found or in any friends homes :(
I really liked them and would like to find an exact replacement, but haven't been able to locate a source. http://www.eagleday.com/gloves.html These look very similar, but are also unavailable: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/PORS/POR_PORS_HOLI05_pg9.htm Suggestions / recommendations? |
go to Sports Authority, Dick's Sporting and get some black batting gloves. I have a pair of Under Armor that I think I paid $20 for. They work great, I used them during Autocross season.

Unfortunately, it looks like those gloves have been discontinued and replaced with these :

I picked up my gloves here : http://www.onlygloves.com/driving-gloves/3496+3499.cfm These might be a nice alternative : http://www.onlygloves.com/driving-gloves/mens/deerskindrivinggloves.cfm Nick |
The new Porsche gloves look good, but appear to be too thick for my taste. I like thin & light.
I did stroll over to the local sporting goods store and found a set of batting gloves for a great deal that will work nicely... Thanks for the tip! |
