'99 warranty
Yep, four years or 50K. Mine is about to go out of warranty in a week at the four year mark. It has about 44,750 miles on it now.

Sound like time for an aftermarket warranty .

Aftermarket warranty
Well, the aftermarket warranties I have read about are quite expensive and the one I know about is not allowed to take on new customers here in California. I realize a major incident such as an engine failure would be costly, but I am going to take my chances. I expect some repairs anyway on a used car, hopefully mine is one of the lucky ones. I have put about 7,000 miles on it now in about six months -- keeping my fingers crossed. Over at PPBB you read a lot about engine failures, which makes me kind of paranoid, but I just have to take it as it comes and deal with it as needed or not (hopefully). While I would hate to spend the bucks for an engine replacement, it would not be that big of a deal for me financially to do it if I have to.

Personally, I would go for the after-warranty. Kind of like insurance, can't live with it, or without it (or is that statement referring to something else????)

I thought that was with or without women? :D
Does Porsche give after-market warranties, or would u know of any company that do. Thanks VIn |
