This is especially enjoyable for me becuase I don't have one yet, I could listen that sound all day... check it out though, nice video that gives a good perspective of being behind the wheel (for those like me) and on the track... I enjoyed it so I thought some of you here might too, if even just to kill some time...

Its a pretty good video in that the camera is positioned pretty well to see the track and the driver.

Does anyone else think that this guy has trouble with slower corners? His turn ins often seem abrupt. It seems like he is braking too late and coming off the brakes just as he yanks the wheel. Weight is transfering off the front end just as he needs it. He then gets lots of tire squeal and understeer. Perhaps getting off the brakes earlier would give the car more time to settle or he could use a little more trail braking.

Don't know enough to judge his corners but he sure seems to pass his share of other drivers and I do not believe he got passed once.

Sound is good. So many times on video Boxsters end up sounding more like Suzuki Dirt Bikes.

Yeah he seemed to have some trouble in the corners, not very smooth but he was seemingly able to pull out of corners faster then others which really helped him pass the 911s. But it almost looks to easy which makes me think maybe it wasn't a competetion run...

This was obviously a DE event with street tires, hence the amount of tire squeal. It's always nice to see a Boxster pass a 911, but in DE events, the driver abilities can vary greatly. He is abrupt on his turn in, but at least he's late apexing. Sounds like he has an Evo Hi-Flow intake on the car...love that sound.

If you read the posts, he is on stock suspension and street tires. He is probably turning in late and abrupt to get the car to rotate. Drive a stock suspension Boxster to smoothly and you get a lot of understeer. I have to slightly toss the car into corners to get it to turn also.

I'll be able to drive smoother when I finish redoing the supension and put bigger tires up front.

It's hard to judge video, especially from my phone, but he is turning in late and squaring off the corners which is causing the car to push. Note that he doesn't open up the wheel when the car is pushing which leads me to belive that this isn't "thrownig the car" on purpose, rather driver error. A stock car requires you to be smoother to offset the softer suspension.
