zeintop quality

i was wondering what the experience was of those who have purchased a zeintop. They are running another xmas discount which gets you down to around $3900 shipped, or $3000 unfinished. Do they rattle, any quality issues, in general how are they holding up,

Thanks

Thom

The quality of the top is excellent but fitting is not the best fit in my opinion. I have to work quite a bit to get the top to fit just right. My Ztop doesn't squeak in normal driving but they do squeak when driving on rough roads or bumps. If they get the fitting to be perfect, it is definitely worth the asking price. Now that I have the top on my car, I love it. It really transform the car. I use my Boxster S as my daily driver so I have this hard top on in wintertime only. I only have to do this twice a year so it is not inconvenience for me. It is like changing winter tires. If you are looking to constantly changing the hard top and soft top, I would not recommend this top because you do have to remove the trunk & convertible lids. At the end of the day, I am glad that I have the Zeintop on my car. I hope this helps.

Tom,

Even at $3900, I can't justify the cost, but I really do like the appearance transformation the Z-top provides though.
