3mm spacers

Anybody know where to get 3mm wheel spacers that will fit the Boxster? I just put my snows on. The fronts are stock size, but the rears are 9" wide with a 55mm offset (as opposed to 52mm). The left side fits. It's close, but it fits. The right may be JUST touching. To be safe, I'd like to add 3mm spacers. I've seen the 5mm Porsche spacers, but AFAICT they come in a set of 4 with new lugs, and therefore are damn expensive. I'm hoping 3mm spacers could work with stock lugs.

Spacers

Get the H&R spacers 7mm. on the front and 14mm on the rear to fill out those wheel wells a little! Good Luck

There's no hubcentric 3mm spacers out there.

Get the 5mm spacers and the correct length lugs. It's the only proper way of doing it.

I don't want to fill the wheel wells with snow tires. heh.

I've seen people talking about 2 and 3mm spacers, but haven't seen them for sale anywhere. I hate to have to have 2 sets of lugs. That would suck.

Thanks for the info though.

You should try Wheel Enhancement...best prices and great service when I bought my 5mm spacers and long lugs...
Cheers

Regardless of your final decision (3 vs 5 mm), make sure you also purschase and use longer wheel bolts.

Talk to Boothe Designs. They advertise a 4mm spacer, at least.

Ordered the 5mm spacers from Wheel Enhancement plus the longer lugs.

You did the right thing. 5mm is less that a quarter inch and is Porsche authorized increase.
