Key remote stops working?

jscrimsh Registered User Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Oregon Posts: 20	This is a daily driver so the remote gets used on a daily basis. As for having to get closer and closer, that is exactly what my wife does. She has found that she can hold the key above the windshield just by the receiver and it will work... I don't seem to have that magic touch. If it was the receiver, wouldn't that also affect the trunk latch?
