Can You Name This Intake?

I just bought this intake off of EBay, can anyone tell me the manufacturer? Seller doesn't know. Any words of wisdom about removal of the stock air box? I've read that its a ********************.

Looks like either an EvoMS or a AFE. I would guess AFE since I think they usually come with the blue cone filter. Hope you got a good deal

I paid $125 + $8 shipping (only 100 miles, should have just run up the highway and picked it up).

WOW, that's an awesome deal you got... Cheapest I've seen. That appears to be the EVO/EVOMs intake.

Congrats!

You got a good deal on that intake. It's the newer EVO model. Let me add a bit of advice: ditch the oiled filter and buy an AEM DryFlow air filter. You can get them from Jegs or Summit Racing for about $50...and not have to worry with a CEL caused by the oil from the filter. I got the 9" version, which required spacing the airbox out a bit, but it wasn't too troublesome. Another thing I found effective was to use some foam pipe insulation to seal the top of the airbox against the engine cover. It does a good job of keeping hot engine air away from the filter.
Enjoy the new sound and the bit of added HP!

Thanks for the info J.Fro. I love the pipe insulation seal, its thick and collapsible and would do a great job. About the AEM filters, I went to the site and could not cross for an EVO filter. Can you tell me your AEM filter part number? Is it big? I like my air filters like I like my butts, BIG!! I can hear the song now;

I like big butts and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung...

Thanks for the help.
