BTW, does that dog of yours eat wayward little kids that wander up into your yard?? Looks like either he (she?) has a slight attitude, or else you just caught him/her in a bad pose.

That's the Aero I kit.
The Boxster Areo II kit front bumper cover looks like the early GT3 front end and the side skirts are more sculpted.
I think the Aero II front end looks a little heavy from some angles on the Boxster.

Huh? Do you mean the 997 GT3 front bumper? That one is only available in the aftermarket to fit the 986, but the 996 GT3 MK1 front bumper is a perfect fit and OEM quality. It's almost exactly the same as the Aerokit II front bumper. I've got the GT3 MK1 on my car, see sig pics below.

Here's another photo of the Aero II kit installed. It's the same part as the MK1 GT3 (not imported to the US).

I think there was some discussion on Renntech that the Aero II front bumper and GT3 MK1 front are not the same part number. I could be wrong. Doesn't matter though as I swear the bumper in your photo is EXACTLY the same as the GT3 MK1 on my car.

Is that a photo that you took? That wouldn't happen to be from a Euro Sunday event, or do people at your local strip mall always drive Porsches, Ferraris, and Austin Martins?

Yes, this was taken at a weekly meet. I am fortunate enough to live in LA (exotic car central) so there are many such weekend get-togethers. This one is known as "Supercar Sunday" or "VCR" (for Village Cooffee Roaster) and it takes place every Sunday from about 7-11 in Woodland Hills. Typically 200-300 cars with the last Sunday of each month being ther largest.

I also usually go to the "Cars & Coffee" meet in Irvine Saturday mornings at the Ford Premier Auto Group parking lot - in fact I'm about to leave for that now. There are usually about 300-400 cars there.

Hi 987S MP, your car looks really nice with the Kit, where did you order it from and how much did it cost you.

I'm in Montreal and don't want to order this Kit on Ebay because you never know what junk you might be getting and then you factor in the customs and transport fees :eek:

Would any one know where can i get a pre cute clear bra for the Aero Kit II bumper. I have the bumper installed on 2001 Boxster. I have the feeling that I will have to use uncut film and custom make it.

What is the general price range of an upgrade on like that...? very nice results... Bob :cheers:

Sorry for the late reply, always forget to sign onto this site.
Really hard to figure the actual price because it was done mostly through insurance and then I added on plus had some touch up paint added. I would say approx $5,000 Cdn. in total with all work being done by a top notch Porsche body shop. Parts came from Atlanta but only Porsche authorized agents have access to it.
