Speaker help

My 986 has the High Performance Audio option, with the multiple speakers in each door. One of the speaker boxes has come slightly loose, and I am trying to take the grill cover off to re-affix it. It simply pops out around the edges, but the center Porsche badge seems to be attached somehow. My question is: does anybody know how to properly remove the grill? Breaking another thing on my Boxster isn't in the budget!

edit: the speakers are as in this picture- the Porsche badge is the small rectangle at top.

There is a screw behind the 'Porsche' logo. Carefully peel it off to access the screw. There are also 4 tabs on the grill - one each - top/bottom/front/rear. It may be necessary to replace the double-sided tape on the logo before re-installing.

If you PM me with an email, I can send you the TSB (9144) which covers retro-fitting the M490 option (High Performance Audio System). It has some pics which show things clearly.

Also, it's a good idea to disconnect the battery (radio code in hand if applicable) and waiting 5 min. before proceeding to avoid accidental side airbag deployment - you should do this whenever working on the door in any way.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot!
