Drivers Side Window Rattle - Please Help

My 05 Boxster S has a window rattle at the top of the window where it meets the roof. It only makes the sound when the window is all the way closed. Does anyone have this problem? It is driving me crazy! Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Greg

Mine rattles when it is all the way down - go figure - where it should be nestled like a baby in its cradle.

Does your window rattle regardless of top up or top down?

No rattles on mine, but why haven't you taken it to your dealer for this problem?

Possible solution

My windows started rattling/creaking as soon as the weather turned cold...only with the top up and the windows completely closed. I read somewhere that a guy went to the dealer for the problem and they "lubed" the tracks.

Today, I took a paper towel and some TireWet silicone spray and liberally wiped inside the rubber stripping where the glass meets the top. No more rattle!

Worked for me...certainly not permanent, but at least I can ride in quiet for a while!
