Error code P.0421?
 

Hi

This morning my '05 987 generated a CEL so I scanned to get a code...

It gave a P.0421 code with the following error.

WARM UP CATALYST BELOW THRESHOLD

BANK 1

Has anyone had this before?

Will it mean a new cat? :(

Hi VFX,
I am the newish owner of 2005 987 3.2 and would like to know if you got this sorted?
Was it a catalyst issue that meant a replacement?

Do you happen to know what the error code is for BANK 2?

I have been to 2 garages and i forgot to ask as my motor generated a CEL and i have no scanner but both have said Cat issue and need replacement, but the car seems to be driving fine.
