Annoying Ticking Noise

Evening all,

Just started my Boxster car this evening to hear a really annoying ticking noise coming from my rear engine. The ticking gets faster when I start driving too (I can hear it when the windows are down). It sounds like its going to be expensive...

Has anyone come across this..my car only recently got serviced so not sure why this would happen

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Chris

When was your last oil change and what weight did you put in? I had this when my car was in winter storage. Once I changed the oil to 0W40, I never heard the ticking again...
