A picture my friend took over the weekend ..

Picture speaks for itself. LOL.

My friend actually followed the lady in the mustang for a bit, and she pulled into a different station and hung the nozzle on another pump after she realized what happened.

Very funny!

rick3000 09-02-2008 02:38 PM

Classic Stupidity! :D

Rick V 09-02-2008 03:00 PM

Obviously from the shallow end of the gene pool :D

gregdacat 09-02-2008 03:17 PM

I have never done that, but I have quite a collection of those tubular document carriers that you use at bank drive up pneumatic system. :D

turbo23dog 09-02-2008 04:39 PM

While not quite as dramatic as the picture, yesterday I saw some driver trying to get his car into a gas station car wash. The gas cap was dangling out of the wide open gas door. This car was next in line until some good Samaritan tapped on the driver's car to warn him about the cap.

nefarious986 09-02-2008 05:33 PM

Hmm .. i wonder how catastrophic that could potentially be .. I m thinking water in gas tank goes to engine = flooded engine or atleast doesn't combust causing massive knock to engine.

Wingnut2u 09-02-2008 09:13 PM

I have done that once when I was putting gas in my boat, just jumped in the car and took off, totally forgot about the hose until I heard this loud pop, I quickly stopped, took the hose and put the handle back on the gas pump and high tailed it out of there. I don't think I have ever felt so stupid.

Brucelee 09-03-2008 06:06 AM

Would this have not created a ruckus? Was she on the phone or texting as she drove off????

Carumba! :D

PSL-Boxster 09-03-2008 09:39 AM

made a pwn3e picture out of it .. =D

Apparently this happens quite a bit. There was a girl on another forum I'm on that drove off with the gas pump in her car and it flew over and broke her back window on her Mercedes. Oops. I wonder how people pump their gas though that they don't notice it. I stand by the pump until it's done and then take it out. Do they just get in the car and forget they are pumping gas or something?

Thank you. That is exactly what this pic needed. That or an "All your base are belong to us" variant.

Congrats on your 100th post.

Hi, the culprit is the G-String it is always creeping up their @$$ when getting in and out of the vehicles and then having a big hose in their hands

Just depends on the proportions of the subject. IOW, G strings should NOT be made in XXL... :barf:

LoveBunny 09-05-2008 10:21 AM

In this instance the woman does look a little big to have been wearing such a tiny thong.

Hi, how did this thread turn into a Thongy thingy :D
I must admit that thongs have distracted me while driving :p but not to the point to cause bodily harm, well a smack in the face from my wife but that's all :D
On a more serious note that lady on msnbc could have caused bodily harm to others if her thong had snapped and come apart in a public place. :barf:
We should be suing her

Thanks LoveBunny IOTFLMAO ;)

An old buddy had to replace his fiberglass bumper/spoiler and hood, as well as repair the right front fender and replace the headlight and THEN have the front end repainted, less than a month from having the custom work and paint done the first time. (1971 911E Targa)
The saving grace is he's been married to the girl he was watching for about 30 years now. Seems the crunching metal and shattering glass sounds got her attention! They went out that evening and were married about a year later.
