Dash Lights Flickering

Driving around on Thursday and the dash lights started flickering and then stayed on...also the a/c fan was very eratic. Any ideas whats up? Car seemed to be running fine...

will try ignition switch...

I had similar experience with my '97. Turned out to be the ignition switch, common problem. Good luck!

I'd like the ignition switch for this type of problem.

Otherwise I'd say there's a bad ground somewhere.

FYI, an independent shop told me it was the alternator today...not sure if I should tell them to start at the switch. I will talk to them in the morning.
