In my opinion, price depends on your location. You can see a 10% price fluctuation easily when you compare two different places i.e. NYC and Charlotte, NC.

Around me (NYC), dealers have no problem asking for 30k+ for a '03 boxster with up to 35k miles. Mind you, the 03 boxster is when they had the face lift and minor engine changes. So if you want an easy way to find a cheaper boxster you could try looking for an 02 with equal millage.

This is just my opinion as I've noticed over the years through the dealer auctions I go to buy cars (I'm not a dealer, but I know a few).
