Its got an automatic. Unless you have a physical problem that prevents you from shifting manually, do not buy an automatic Boxster. Nothing particularly wrong with a Tiptronic tranny but its a sports car for f**k's sake.

Seems a bit high to me, too, though I'll admit to being lazy and not doing any research before posting this. I got mine almost exactly two years ago (a 2001 Boxster S, making both cars the same age when purchased used). Paid about 3 grand more than they're asking for the one you're looking at (and from what I've read on this forum since then, have come to realize I paid too much).

But mine's an 'S' with litronics, 6 CD changer, 19K miles, etc.

AND---it's more of a buyer's market today than it was when I got mine.
