What have you crammed into your Boxsters? Today, I managed to get one of my bikes into the rear trunk. Sure, I had to take off the fork and the wheels will have to go up front, but it fits with room to spare! http://ericfilcoff.com/pictures/BoxBike.jpg No, this won't be an everyday transport setup, but I'm going on a 2,000 mile road trip/bike trip, and I feel like taking the Boxster instead of the IS300 (the usual bike hauler). What about you guys? |

I am surprised that that fit because it is such a large shape, but I've fit more than that. I managed to fit one roll aboard suitcase, two medium sized duffle bags, a regular backpack, an old 15" iMac, a regular sized cooler, a few jackets, plus an extra passenger. And that was without my roof rack. Who needs an SUV when you have a Boxster? :D |

I've crammed more into my 944 than I would like to admit. But in the Boxster the most I have fit was 2 barstools, one of which fit in the front and one in the passenger seat. |

The best photo I have seen was the one with Lovebunny in her frunk - that was a good one. The frunk fits (2) cases of wine very nicely. |

One of the reasons I bought the boxster was it's generous cargo space compared to other cars in it's class. Last year my wife and I took it on a week-long camping trip and packed among other things, a six-man tent, 15 lb of steaks, 2 sleeping bags and an air matress. We filled just about every cubic inch of space including under the seats, the behind the steat storage bin and pillows behind the seats. |

Last year for the Tail of the Dragon trip my car was so packed to the gills, I had to ship a small box to the hotel/motel. Then ship it back home for the return. I had a couple suitcases, computer bag, briefcase and lots of cleaning supplies. |

Here is something to consider, if you are going to be overfilling your frunk: http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=P&Product_Code =DASSCHILD&Category_Code=987cc |

^ Das Schield is offering a group buy for the Boxster. $210 front and rear. Email them for a place on the buy. It's a big list. |

The most I've had in the black spider was for the BrumosU school. Two tons of fun!!!   |

There's another thread that has LOTS of pics and discussion about this same thing. You should check it out as it's actually quite humorous. |

I've crammed my brother into mine, but I didn't make him ride in the trunk. He doesn't particularly like my car. |

I've fit in the front trunk about $300 worth of groceries from Costco... unfortunatly there wasnt anymore room to fit the emotional baggage i'd aquire from spending $300 at Costco on food alone. Next time i goto Costco, im just buying a case of yogurt and AMC Movie Tickets... and maybe stop by the instore optometrist for a check up so i can show off my 15/20 vision. :D |

I carried an LSD diff from my old E36 in the front trunk, fit well but the weight was a little much that far forward. Kinda reminded me of driving my 911, so it wasn't all that bad. |

I would love to have comments from all the people who witnessed these Porsche driving idiots taking all the digital photos of groceries in their trunks!! :D :D :D :D The only thing better would have been a mob competition with bodies in their trunks! |
