Sorry about making my last post complicated; here's a rehash: If I have two programmed keys and lose one, the only way to ensure the car doesn't get stolen is to take the car to a dealer and get it reprogrammed so that the lost key will no longer work. Unfortunately there are areas in this city where people would not turn in a lost key to the police.
