Perfectlap - can you take a picture of the shifter installed in your car? I'm curious to see what it looks like as I've been pondering this one as well. I wasn't sure about the carbon fiber route or just the standard black look.

I believe this shifter was part of the aluminmum look package, along with the aluminum parking brake handle, correct?

I dont thik the pink bumper looks as good on the car as it would look inside the car.

the shifter is great I have thought about that one as well.

Yeah, me too... I like the silver trim ring at the bottom. How much did you pay for the shifter and where did you get it from? I think the best I've seen is about $300, which is a bit much if you ask me for a shift knob and boot... damn German cars, everything decent is so expensive! Maybe we should do a group buy.

The one that goes with "aluminum" package is silver with black leather.
I bought both that one and the carbon fiber one to see which would look better.
i decided to stick with the carbon fiber one because I thought it would be easier to keep clean. But the carbon look isn't for everyone. I also nabbed a aluminum look center console on fleabay from a guy who never installed it. Along with the new mats (also ebay) it made the inside look brand new. carbon fiber door handles and map cover lids are next but darn are they expensive.

I'll post pics of the shifter, I took some recently.
