wheel fitment advice needed

Hi, wondering if I can run 996TT wheels(18x8 and 18x11) on a 987 boxster S?
Seller does not know offsets but I think the fronts will bolt right up but not sure the 11's will fit. Anyone have experience with wider rears?
thanks.

First off, I believe the general concensus is 11" wheels will not work on a Boxster. Others can confirm or deny that.

The factory offsets for 18" 987 wheels are 43mm front and 57mm rear. If the 997TT wheels are factory Porsche wheels, they'll have 2 numbers by the valve stem of the wheel. One number's the width and the other number's the offset. You may be able to use spacers to get to the 997TT wheels to Boxster offsets, but you don't want to get too wild with spacer widths (probably no bigger than 15mm). Plus you'll need to buy longer lug bolts if you go the spacer route.

Better find out what the offsets are before you spend any hard earned $$$.

thanks for the reply, and yes, will not purchase w/o fitment confirmation.
With the limited power, really no need for 11's, but its a great deal on some really nice wheels and is very tempting!! ;)
