Tool pants.. thanks for your reply, this is exactly what I did, I even tryed to pull on the top part while unscrewing..

All your comment confirm me that I don't have a 'normal' situation here.

I guess the blades of the nuts went too deep into the stud so they won't unscrew, I guess the only remaining solution is to drill them..
