Porsche Car Cover

What's the best way to wash a Porsche car cover? Thanks.

Depends on what type. My heavy outdoor version (used inside) says not to wash in a machine. Use something like Simple Green and warm water.

My 914 indoor cloth version goes in the washing machine.

I think the Porsche car cover is essentially a silverguard cover with the emblem on it. Those are made out of some kind of poly/plastic material so you could just rinse it with a hose and hang it to dry. Of if you want to clean it better you could toss it into a washer that doesn't have an agitator and you should be fine. Just don't put any cover in the dryer whatever you do.

The directions with mine advised not to put into washer. The outside cleans up well. It's the soft fuzz sections that hit the top of the fenders that are a pain to clean.

Mine got dirty from what looked like a clean car. Now I won't use it unless it has just been washed.
