Bilstein Shocks

I will be changing the front O.E.M. shocks with Bilstein HD units.
The instruction pamphlet states to discard the original bump stop from the old shocks as the new units have this bump stop built in
Has anyone installed these shocks and is the instruction correct?
Thanks,
JDBOXSTER

I have Bilsteins on the front of my 914, but do not remember how the bump stops were set-up. I'd bet the instructions are correct. With extra bump stops you are going to come up on them sooner and lose some jounce on extreme bumps.
