Blown Engine? Ruff Conversion Time?

For those of you that read my original post about my car not starting, battery issue perhaps?

Well now its all but dead, won't turn over at all. I think I should have listened to myself and just took it to sears for a fresh battery. A $135 scientific experiment.

But nooooooooooo....I try to start it with no luck, call the dealer and they say have it towed in.....the last thing I want is someone towing my baby.....

so I say, hey this is what's happening.....and the dealer says oh man sounds like you blew your engine....(so guys what is happening is a grinding sound when I turn the key) I say no way! he says yup, if you're lucky its a fuel pump....

I still think its the battery.....but if not?

but come on, no oil, no smoke, no smell, no car fire, no nothing....just what seems to me to be a dying battery.....

keep in mind one thing....the ran for like 2 seconds and shut off....started and I drove 30-40 miles home....the next 2 times I wentto use it, same thing, fired rightup, croaked....then hesitantly turned over.....no way that's a blown engine...

Your car looks pretty new. Still under warranty? If so, let them replace it. If not see if you can get them to help out. Hope it's just the battery though. Keep us posted.

change (borrow ) a battery for peace of mind to see if it starts, then eliminate the starter motor, (may be sticking) take off plug leads (see if it turns over without starting) ,,, take out plugs (see if it turns over with no compression) ect....
