LF: 987 Emblem
 

Hi everyone,

Just picked up my boxster on Friday - am enjoying it a lot.

Just wondering if anyone knew where to purchase these emblems? I've tried bumperplugs.com and the like that's been suggested on this forum but no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated.

What emblems are you talking about - stock ones? Did you car come without one?

I get stock parts from Hendricks Porsche (4porscheparts.com) - best prices IMO.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm looking for the badge on the rear trunk. Right now it says boxster, but I'm going to take the recommendations of some of the members to remove it using waxed dental floss. I'd like to replace the 'Boxster' with 987 instead.

Not only does it represent the 2005 and above models, but I can justify I purchased this vehicle to my wife by saying that it was fate since we got married on September 8, 2007. :)

Unfortunately I have not seen the numbers "987" available. "986" is done by switching the number from the Porsche Model 968 :
