Oh, yeah, I thought I was getting an awesome car for a great bargain. I bought it like 5k below book value. It drove great and was beautiful. I had it checked by a mechanic before I bought it and he warned me there were electrical problems with the pre-1990 Jaguars. I didn't think electrical problems could be that big of a deal. Boy, was I wrong!

Was 37 when I bought my S, now 38.

Still look about 12 years old though. Well, maybe not 12, but I do look a lot younger. Must have been all that good air, growing up in Scotland that did it

While waiting at some lights the other day with the roof down, this young lad pulled up alongside me and said, "That's real nice your dad let's you ride his car"

I said, "It's real nice your dad let's me ride your mum" (read "mom" for US readers )

He wasn't too happy

Cheers, Gord.

I'm 67, will be 68 in August. My first car was a 1963 Beetle. Traded it five months after I bought it for a 1964 MGB. Kept it until I bought a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible. Beautiful car, Saturn Gold with a white interior and a white top. Kept it until 1991 when I bought a 1990 Mazda Miata. I have owned two other Miatas. Bought my present car in Aug of last year.

As you can see, I love convertibles.

Even your work car is black and white. What are you going to do if you ever become a detective and get a blue car? oh, no!

I am 39 and I got my 2000 Zenith Blue Box two years ago. I don't think anyone can sterotype a Boxster driver. I think the only question about a Boxster being a real Porsche is if its an automatic. No offense to the automatic Boxster owners. Just my honest opinion. I think there are way too many automatics floating around in South Florida and it paints the wrong kind of image for Boxsters and Boxster owners.

Don't usually respond to non-technical stuff.

100 years old with gray hair.

Started Boxstering in 1999. Took a while for the feet to reach the pedals.

That's the only boxster driver so far that I've seen that's shorter than I am.

Got my first car at 16 as a hand-me-down.

I'm 24 now, and bought the Boxster about a week ago, and she makes car number 18 on my list.

The ones of note are as follows:

02 Audi S4, 04 Audi S4, 04 Corvette Convertible, 05 Audi S4, 05 BMW M3, 05 BMW Z4, 05 Honda S2000, 06 Corvette,

and finally the 01 Boxster
