Smile LSD with shorter final drive?

Is there a way to install an LSD with a shorter final drive ratio-shorter gears so that the acceleration is more lively?

thanks

lsd, yup, final drive, i'm sure there is, but i have not heard of it.

i'm thinking about doing the lsd when the clutch goes. there are time that i like the gears as is, ie on a FAST autox course, but then there are times that i would want them otherwise, (a tight autox course) haha.

but the boxster has way more low end tq than our other autox car 1.8t GTi. so in teh end, i'm ok with it : )
