Top problem`
 

I have an 01 S and for some reason every other time I pull up the emergency break handle the light won't come on and the top won't go up or down.
I have to push it up and down 10 or 11 times to get it to come on and only then the top will go up or down. I'm sure it's just a switch problem but is there a way to override the top switch from the emergency break handle???

it is a very common problem, I actually have not yet seen any info on by-passing the micro switch located in the brake handle. We were just talking about this wednesday in this thread: http://986forum.com/forums/boxster-general-discussions/16427-top-wont-close.html
