Bumper Fitment Question

I would like to know if the bumper from a 2005-2008 911 Carrera (The standard bumper) will fit the Boxster (1999).
Thanks

Not without some work. Headlights are totally different.

Is the headlight the only issue? I like the look of the new carrera bumper and I can get one fairly inexpensive. If you know what is involve in the transformation, I will appretiate.

Thanks

Need new headlights, fenders, and bumper. Some of the supporting bits need to be changed as well. Same hood. Not a cheap proposition.

Hope that helps.

Correction: even the hood will need to be replaced. He's asking about a 997 to 986 conversion. Completely different front ends entirely.

Don't do it. It doesn't match the car.

There is a bumper that you can buy that is similar to you 997 look. http://www.986forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15576

Oops, missed the part about the 986 to 987 front. Yes, you would need the hood as well. This is a project I just don't see being worth undertaking. I have the Mk1 GT3 bumper on my 986, and I can't see doing anything aside from that, especially since you can do it with OEM Porsche parts vs aftermarket fiberglass.
