Wheels
Well as long as I'm dumping money into the car. What's a good place to look for nice deep dish lightweight 18inch wheels?

Wow...silence from the masses! 43 reads and no replies. I think I'm just going to buy the '03 Turbo Style II wheels when my current tread is up unless someone else has a better suggestion on where to put 3k.
Will I need spacers for these wheels? |
I'm a fan of the Carrera light-weights from Porsche. I would check the prices at http://wheelenhancement.com/
Aftermarket, I have heard real good things about http://www.ccwheel.com/old%20site/racepage-index.html Good prices, low weight and 'just right' custom offsets |
You want deep dish and light weight? Check out the Cargraphic wheels. :)

I have the Kinesis Supercup wheels on my Boxster. I receive lots of compliments on them.
http://www.kinesismotorsport.com/cast.htm My car can be seen at: www.tanglewoodbrushstrokes.com Go to Jerry's Page and scroll down to the Boxster area. |
19' Wheels
Try going with a 19' wheel. It give the car a more agressive look and compromise the ride. See below for picture

Thanks everyone bookmarked the links for future reference. :D

Kinesis are obviously great lightweight performence wheels, BBS are one of the best wheels available on the market in terms of performence howeever done offer the deep dish that you want. Great looking wheels that offer deepdish are DPE, Iforged and HRe. My personal favorite is DPE with a satin finish.

I wanted the same I opted for the RH Wheel 3.6 18 inch I also put spacers on them ( rear only 12 or 15 mm )
These are true 3 piece wheels. Got them at www.wheelexchange.com compared to the turbo twist 18's the car come with after market rims are a bit soft ( and do bend easier ) I had to get mine repaired within the 1st year also, if you get curb rash, it cost $300 for a new lip to replace the lip at the factory. |
My local speedshop (had the Sirius put in, don't know why I didn't do this sooner) quoted me $3100 for these BBS GT. Toyo Proxes T1-S are anonther $700. That's some sales tax, I'll have to make sure and order them online.
they come in dark and brilliant silver, I'm leaning toward brilliant. http://www.wheelenhancement.com/whee...c%20Silver.jpg http://www.wheelenhancement.com/whee...ards%20Red.jpg |
