Air Intakes??
 

Can anyone explain the 2 air intakes on each side of my 02 boxster. Is 1 an intake and the other an exhaust? or both intake? I notice that only the right side vent is hot after running and the left side is cool. Is this normal? Also they seem to be slightly different in design (air flow?) Maybe I'm imagining this?

Any knowledge is appreciated.

New to my 2002 - but, LOVE it!

Driver side: Engine air intake (the one you pop off to "desnorkle").

Passenger side: cooling fan discharge.
