I just let my PCA membership lapse. As dj said, waste of money. My local chapter was the problem... if yours has some good guys you'll be OK. Good luck.

Potomac and Chesapeake are good clubs in my area, tons of events, good people, sounds like it varies by region which is unfortunate.

yup,
all the good ones here are not PCA ones, and we all even go to Indiana from Chicago to race how good the organization is.

good luck tho

Do check out your local chapter for events and go to a few of them this next year and that will give you your answer.

PCA membership also gives you discounts at some online retailers (performance products for one).

Panorama magazine is interesting for the ads and some of the articles. The magazine design sucks, but it provides a half hour of page flipping.

I have benefitted greatly from being a PCA member.

You also have to consider that belonging to the PCA offers you more than just opportunities to attend events. What I mean by this is that if your region is not too active, there's nothing stopping you from contacting your local club leaders and volunteering to organize events and make things happen.
