Possible problems replacing stereo?

I just bought a 99 Boxster and I would like to replace out the factory stereo with an aftermarket one. I am pretty familiar with the procedure in most vehicles, but I wanted to check with anyone who has experience in doing this in a Boxster. Mainly I was hoping to get some insight to see if I might have a problem with any of Porsche's security features if I remove the factory unit.

Any other information on other "gotchas" would be appreciated as well.

Try doing a search there is plenty of information on this. The only safety feature is the radio code, which you need to have if you disconnect the radio. Besides that you'll need to disconnect the battery so you don't set off any airbags when you do the actual install.
