Not halogen, not xenon, but LED headlights

I scoped this at the Dallas Auto Show today. I thought this technology would be further down the road, but here it is.

Both driving lights and brights are LED. It's cool, they don't need to warm up or flicker on. They just snap up with illumination and snap off. Never thought I'd say this, but way to go Cadillac. Way cool!

Evidently a few other cars are starting to do this, but the Cadillac Escalade Platinum Edition is the first to have full LED lighting.

I love them. My Armada lease is up Jan '09. Making a choice between the Cadi Escalade hybrid, or hopefully a new diesel Hummer H2.
