All Boxsters have the front and rear fogs. If you pull your light switch out one click you will turn on the front fogs. If you pull the knob out an additional click the rear fogs are turned on. If you turn on your rear fogs and only see a drivers side light you do not have a bulb out. That is the way they come. I have heard a hundred theorys on why it is this way but the best one I heard is if both lights came on it may confuse drivers behind when you apply your brakes.
