Shifted Maintainence Schedule

Hello all!

I'm new to the forum and a first time Porsche owner :D I just purchased a 2002 Boxster S (Tip) with 43000 miles on the odometer. I have TONS of questions of course but the most pressing question on my mind right now is the maintainence schedule.

The engine in this car was replaced by Porsche at 10,000 miles so the owner shifted the maintainence schedule (i.e. he just did the 30,000 mile maintainence at 40,000 odometer miles).

So my question is should I continue this way or get it back on the regular schedule at 45,000 odometer miles?

Thanks in advance!

Depends on how much you love your car. 10k mi. is not a lot, performing any required maintenance early won't hurt it at all. Think of it sort of as a cushion should you not make it exactly as mileage requires.
