I think that article was posted here once before.

303PS=299bhp, so this car gets 4hp over the standard version, or in other words, nothing.

Saw one of these at the dealership today, not really too special, but a nice box nonetheless. But those bright Orange Special Editions...THOSE are in yo face!

Mind you it took Honda 4 years to add 0 horsepower to the S2000 and 8 pound-feet of torque.

4HP in a year isn't bad, considrering the Boxster has 201HP in 1999.

That's not 4 hp per year, that's 4 hp for a model that they charge a premium for. The other S's don't get a boost at all.

I thought the 2007 and 2008 987S had 295 HP? Still, 295 vs. 303 is no big change.

PS is a metric measurement of power that is a little higher than BHP. 303PS=299BHP. All other 3.4s have 295BHP. You'd never notice a 4 bhp difference.

Here's a link to a post I made in another forum- it has a picture and the price tag of an RS60 in Denmark. It'll make anyone in North America happy with what they paid for their Porsche.

Try buying a new boxster in Singapore. They boast the highest retail prices on cars anywhere in the world. A new S class Mercedes is now $500,000 bucks, even with a weak Singapore dollar against a weak US dollar.

We have one forum member who bought a used 2001 base boxster and paid $120k USD for it in Singapore.

We US buyers are very fortunate indeed.
