Crashed P-Car

Just thought I'd share some pics of my accident on friday, thankfully nothing major happened. Hope you enjoy the pics. Car is at the shop now, hope it looks ok in the end. Enjoy!

blinkwatt 03-16-2008 04:54 PM

Whoa! What happened?

Try to get the insurance company to pay you out for the headlights and make sure you get the 03'+ style ones.

Bad Company 03-16-2008 04:55 PM

That is pretty painfull. I hope that you are okay.

juan986 03-16-2008 05:05 PM

It wasnt too bad, I got hit by a suburban! Nothing happened to it of course, just a dent and scratches, mine looks like.....well you saw it! thankfully I am fine, just a minor accident, no airbags deployed or anything like it.

bmussatti 03-16-2008 05:27 PM

Juan, come on fess up. We all know you were trying to clean-out your front radiators! :)

Glad you are OK. Hope you can make some lemonade out of this unfortunate event.

It always pains me to see our special cars damaged.

Damn, those suburbans win every time!

peakpro 03-16-2008 05:27 PM

glad your OK...hope repairs go smoothly

good luck

986speedster 03-16-2008 05:44 PM

OK so you told your friend with the suburban to hit you because you finally decided to upgrade to the new 997 gt3 front bumper, litronics, carbon fiber hood.... JK hope all goes well with the repairs, and get it back in time for the season.

Lil bastard 03-16-2008 07:55 PM

Oooh NASTY!

Well, no one was hurt, so it's all UP from here. Good Luck!

LoveBunny 03-16-2008 10:01 PM

For being hit by a Suburban that's not too bad. Still made me cringe when I opened the first picture though.

humara 03-16-2008 10:02 PM

make sure to get the insurance to pay you for diminished value too.

tboyer 03-17-2008 03:26 AM

Man, glad no one was hurt, that's one way to de-amber your headlights, got a DIY? :D

Where's my car? 03-17-2008 11:57 AM

similar thing happened to me about 2 years ago, everything will be alright!! glad to know that your ok.

juan986 03-17-2008 04:14 PM

I am glad you are all on the same page as I am about the de-amber. I am going to get the clear headlight, I wanted the litronics but of course thats not covered and those are still really pricey. Anybody selling clear lights or litronics?

Dr. Kill 03-18-2008 09:47 AM

Doesn't look too bad to me. You can probably buff that out. ;)

Glad you are OK!

juan986 05-15-2008 05:20 PM

New look!

All, just wanted to share how my care came out after the crash, I did upgrade the headlights to clear ones and finally de-ambered. I will upload some more as soon as I wash my car.

PWebRPH 05-15-2008 07:58 PM

Wow, looks awesome. Nice upgrades.

rick3000 05-16-2008 04:18 AM
