My favorite subject!

Trying my hand in some photoshop tricks. Hehe... This was fun. Don't know why there is some ghosting around the car though, I thought I was careful in selecting outside the car! Now I just need to get a new top. Hehe...

You probably had a "feather radius" on the outline of more than 10 pixels (or more depending on image size)... that would encroach into your outlined car then... try a 1 pixel and see what happens...

(I'm a senior graphic designer... and I'm actually taking a break from PS right now believe it or not! haha.)

oops... and great job by the way!

Hey thanks! And yes... it was the feather radius setting. I will do a better one next time. Hehe...

Very cool! If you didn't say anything, I would have thought that it was done on purpose...

Photoshop is amazing... you'll get to a point that anything you can imagine in your mind you can do in that program...

Do you have CS3? It's nice to be able to rearrange the filters in the layers pallet etc... it makes it easy to see what happens if you flip the order around and turn effects on and off...

Actually I have Photoshop 7. I did not see the need to upgrade as I found very little difference as far as what effects I use. Then again, I'm a super-novice so I don't even know what I'm missing I'm sure. Haha! But thanks.
